The Department of Electrical, Electronic and Automatic control Engineering is placed in the
Sescelades Campus and is the university body responsible for organizing, coordinating,
and developing, the research, and the teaching tasks in the own department knowledge
areas or specialties: Electronics Technology, Automatic Control and Systems Engineering,
Electrotechnical Engineering, and Theory of Signals and Communications. Our department,
created in 1991, now in 2024, currently employs more than 150 people. All of us, from our
position: PDI, PTGAS, and PDI in formation, contracted people, and civil servants, we are
all committed, in a single objective, to move forward. Improve our research and teaching
every day, expanding our department and university, and contributing to the welfare, and
sustainable development of our society. -
