Professor LLuis Marsal, appointed Fellow of the European Optical Society (EOS)
At the society's annual meeting in Naples last week ( https://www.europeanoptics.org/events/eos/eosam2024.html ), Professor LLuis Marsal was appointed Fellow of the European Optical Society (EOS) by the his career and contributions to optics and photonics. This recognition is added to the one already received in 2021 from the American society (EUAS) of the same name. Professor Marsal thanks his colleagues at the school (ETSE) and the DEEEA for the support we have always given him. As head of department, we congratulate him on the honors achieved, which obviously improve the visibility and prestige of our school (ETSE) in general, and of the department (DEEEA) in particular.
